Adobe Lightroom is a fantastic piece of software, and for anyone living in a cave the last few years, you should go over to Adobe and check it out. Lightroom manages your galleries, and lets your develop, create slideshows, show, format for the web, and print all from one program. It’s sorta like a light weight photoshop for those who like to take a more hands on approach with the settings for your prints.

Lightroom has saved me countless hours of setting up page templates in Photoshop, dragging dropping, resizing, and cropping images to fit by using their Page Templates system (Under the Print Menu). I’ve set up about 5 jobs so far we commonly do in the photography studio (4×6 wallets (2), 8×10 wallet sheet (8), 5×7, 8×10 (borderless) and 8×10 on Legal paper). You can import these presets by going to the Print screen in Lightroom, and selecting the preset files (Don’t forget to download and extract) from your hard drive.

Hopefully this saves you as much time as it has myself, and you can use these presets in your work flow.

Lightroom Print Templates (101)

Feel free to redistribute these and simply include a link back to this post if you appreciate the work and time I’ve possibly saved you ;)
